Accessibility Statement

We are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all users and strive to provide an inclusive digital experience for everyone.

Commitment to Accessibility

We are dedicated to making our website accessible to individuals with disabilities, and we continuously work to enhance the user experience and remove barriers to accessibility.

Standards and Guidelines

Our website endeavors to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 or 2.2, which outline best practices for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

Accessibility Features

Our website incorporates various accessibility features, including:
  • alternative text for images
  • keyboard navigation support
  • "Jump to Main Content" jump link at the top of the page. This jump link is only visible to screen readers.

Testing and Evaluation

We conduct regular accessibility evaluations using a combination of automated tools, manual testing, and feedback from users to identify and address any accessibility issues.

Areas for Improvement

While we are committed to maintaining accessibility, we acknowledge that some areas of our website may not be fully accessible. We are actively working to address these issues.

Currently we have the following areas which may not fully conform to accessibility standards:
  • In the page header, some link elements have a low contrast ratio when the background images are turned off. We provided title and aria-label attributes there to assist.
  • Third party forms, such as the email signup form by MailChimp may not have the required field attributes and we have no control over such content. Some form elements on this site have no labels for design considerations. For such form elements we added a title tag to aid screen readers
  • We use a third-party search tool whose code we have no direct access to. The sort function of the search is not keyboard-accessible.
  • Some semantic HTML elements at checkout are not up to standards for accessibility (header tags, form fields with no labels, etc.) Since we are using Turbify's shared checkout architecture, the HTML source of the page is not fully under our control. We used labels (aria-label attributes) where possible.
